Hi, I'm Sara!
I started my personal yoga practice while in college taking a class for fun, not knowing anything about what yoga was, and was instantly drawn to it. Having participated in competitive individual and team sports growing up, through post college (tennis, track, volleyball, swimming, golf) I knew that keeping active was important. In addition to my yoga practice I've long been an advocate for incorporating weight lifting/strength training, kayaking and paddle board into my routine and am a mediocre but enthusiastic runner and mountain bike/cyclist.
The more classes that I took and the more I learned through various teaching styles the more I became intrigued to learn more.
Yoga can be done at any age, body size and level of fitness. I'm a certified trained yoga instructor with specialized training in Hatha, Yin, chair, children's, curvy and restorative yoga.
When not teaching yoga, I'm in a different classroom in higher education as a faculty member teaching HR/ Business Classes.
