Adult Mat Yoga Series
Because we keep our class sizes very small in order to provide personalized attention and to create a close welcoming environment for all levels of yoga practitioners, our classes sometimes fill up quickly. Our adult and children's fall series filled up quickly this fall and are continuing through year end.
If class is filled, send a note and I'll place you on the wait list; if a different day/time is better for you and there is enough interest I'll set up a new series!
Register separately for each series, link on website. Once you register I'll send an email with more details, please be sure to check your spam box just in case!
Series Cancellations:
Please cancel class registrations 24 hrs in advance to the start of the series to avoid being charged full price for the class. Cancellations after the start of the series will not be refunded.

Yoga for the Office (Office Yoga, Yoga in the Office, Yoga at Your Desk)
Class designed specifically for the office worker. Class will involve quiet meditation, focus on breathing and deep stretches and poses done right at your desk.
Sitting at your desk for hours on end is not good for your health, it places unnecessary strain on the lumbar spine, overstretches the mid to upper back and shortens the chest and hips, leading to neck, shoulder, and low back pain. A short midday break with a few yoga poses and your body and mind will thank you!

Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is the perfect way for those who spend extended periods of time sitting in a chair to incorporate movement into their day. It's also a great way for beginners or those with challenges moving swiftly from mat to standing to try yoga.
We will use the chair in some fashion for balance as we move through a sequence of yoga poses. Comfortable loose clothing is best. Don't forget to bring water and a towel for your personal use. Props will be supplied, but if you prefer to bring your own, please bring a strap, tennis ball and 2 blocks. Both seated and standing poses will be incorporated with emphasis on breathing throughout.

Children/ Teen Yoga
Children and teens love yoga! From the movement in and out of yoga poses, to being able to express themselves in a creative manner, to the 'rest' portion or Savasana at the end of each class. Children and teens are naturally flexible, yoga allows them to maintain their flexibility, allows them the ability to develop strength and coordination, to develop strong self-esteem and body image, improve mental focus and to learn how to breath and channel and release stress.
Classes are developed specifically to each age group that works best together and yoga sequences reflect their level and comprehension. Yoga for younger children include fun games, creative projects and activities to keep their interest, support their attention span and allow for deeper self-understanding all while supporting the goal of yoga with self-awareness, self-regulation and self-mastery.
Children will experience grounding, strengthening and calming in an atmosphere that is engaging and fun. Each class will engage your child through a variety of developmentally appropriate yoga poses which may also include games, partner yoga, storytelling, crafts and mindfulness.
