Live a more mindful and intentional life! Setting an intention allows you to keep focused on the reason you are meditating or practicing yoga. Keeping focused on that intention keeps your mind from wandering off course and therefore keeping your practice more meaningful. Intentions are the act of bringing your attention and awareness to a quality or virtue that you want to bring into your life both on and off the mat. A few ideas to get you started: Gratitude-focus on people and things in which you are grateful. Forgiveness- perfection is not yoga, none of us are perfect but spending a few moments reflecting on those things you wish to be forgiven for and sending thoughts of forgiveness to those who you feel have wronged you allows you to let go of hard feelings towards yourself and others. Guidance- asking for help is not a sign of weakness, in fact it's a sign of strength. Reflect on on areas where you need help and ask for guidance.
